We are Marc and Chanelle, a brother and sister team and the co-owners of Bright Light Signs Ltd.

Our story began long before our company name existed, with our father, Richard, who owned and operated a successful sign company in Eastern Canada for over 35 years. When he moved west to Alberta, he brought his expertise, work ethic, and passion for the sign industry with him.

Richard introduced Marc to the trade first, and a few years later Chanelle left her sales career to join her father and brother. Together, the three of us built what is now Bright Light Signs Ltd. Over a decade, our family-owned company has grown steadily while staying true to the values our father instilled: professionalism, honesty, quality workmanship, and strong industry relationships.

From the beginning, we recognized that many sign companies in the Edmonton area were already well established. Instead of competing with them, we chose a different, collaborative path. We positioned ourselves as independent installation partners — supporting sign shops, fabricators, and contractors with reliable, safe, and professional installation services.

This approach allowed Bright Light Signs Ltd. to quickly build a strong reputation as a trustworthy installation ally rather than a competitor. Over the years, we’ve formed lasting relationships with sign companies across Edmonton and throughout Western Canada. Many rely on us for their installation and service needs, while we continue to support their fabrication work and on-site projects.

As our network expanded, companies from across Canada and the United States began hiring Bright Light Signs Ltd. for installation projects throughout Western Canada. These partnerships allowed us to sharpen our craft, refine our processes, and become known for consistent, dependable, high- quality installation work.

In 2020, we experienced a tremendous loss when our father, the founder of our company and the heart of our industry journey, passed away in a tragic accident near his home in Sturgeon County.

The company was left to the two of us, and since then we have continued to honour his legacy by upholding his vision, strengthening existing relationships, and building new ones.

Today, Bright Light Signs Ltd. stands as a trusted, experienced installation partner proudly serving Alberta and Western Canada. We are grateful for the clients, sign shops, and contractors who have supported us along the way, and we remain committed to carrying forward the values and craftsmanship our father taught us.
